The development of new approaches to highway and network asset management linked to smart city investment is central to the continued success of the city.

This Highway Network Asset Manager is a leading role within the Highways Service responsible for the day to day management of Leicester’s highway infrastructure, traffic and parking services, managing the activities of multi-disciplinary teams and staff.

You will be required to develop, maintain and implement highway and network asset management plans to optimise the performance of the road network, improve air quality, support the local economy, improve road safety, maintain the highway infrastructure, manage traffic and parking and maximise funding opportunities. Developing our strategic approach to smart city technology in support of asset and network management activities will be a key priority.
