Assistant Streetworks & Permitting Officer G5 (Boston)
Lincolnshire County Council is recruiting several positions to assist in the delivery of Local Highways Management, Highway Asset Management, and Street Works and Permitting to ensure the efficient management and use of the Lincolnshire highway network.
The Assistant Streetworks and Permitting Officer will assist with all aspects of the Network Management service including the New Roads and Streetworks Act, the Traffic Management Act and all duties included within the Highways Permit Scheme.
The postholder will assist with the management and co-ordination of all activities on the highway ensuring that disruption and inconvenience is managed to an absolute minimum.
Have you got experience in customer care? Can you evidence brilliant communicational skills? Can you demonstrate understanding of issues affecting highway network?
Then you will be able to support the delivery of essential highway services in Lincolnshire.
In these posts you will need a good level of technical knowledge to engage with the community and inspect and place works orders to the Alliance contractors.
These diverse posts have a varied workload including the coordination of works, daily communication with a variety of customers and groups in a range of methods and assisting in the development and use of suitable IT systems and processes.
