The Sheffield City Region LEP, working with the Combined Authority, has a complex programme of activity arising from a significant Growth Deal and an ambitious Devolution Deal.

The Programme Commissioning function of the SCR Executive leads all work on the design and development of the SCR programme, with the Programme and Performance function leading project and contract management. The announcement of devolved funding for employment programmes requires us to strengthen capacity across the organisation.

The Projects and Contract Team Leader will support the procurement of employment programmes across a range of partners and actively manage the subsequent contracts and projects. The role will have a significant role in liaising with government departments and across stakeholders including Local Authorities, Job Centres, Health providers and other services.

You must have experience in managing complex projects and partnerships, familiarity with managing ESF funding would be an asset. We are seeking an officer with drive and ambition to lead this nationally groundbreaking work.
