Sheffield City Region - Programme Support Officer
The Sheffield City Region LEP, working with the Combined Authority, has a complex programme of activity arising from a significant Growth Deal and an ambitious Devolution Deal. The announcement of devolved funding for employment programmes requires us to strengthen capacity across the organisation.
The SCR Commissioning function of the SCR Executive leads all work on the design and development of programme interventions across the breadth of Labour Market, Transport, business support and infrastructure and housing disciplines. The announcement of a £18m investment in employment support programmes within the SCR requires us to strengthen team capacity.
The Programme Support Officer will play a key role in this team and will support the work to design and mobilise the two flagship employment programmes the Health Led Employment Trial and the Early Intervention Pilot. This will include stakeholder engagement particularly work with Local Partners to support the local integration of services, collecting and presenting management information to support performance appraisal and project management. We looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individual with a background in employment and project support to join our team.
