With a remit to provide outstanding leadership to the Council’s change management and transformation function, the Assistant Director Transformation will work with senior leaders across the organisation to define and deliver service improvement, cost reduction, culture change and staff and partnership development initiatives. Working with local partners and London-wide and national bodies, you will achieve best practice and maximise return from investment. Particular focus will be on the continued development and delivery of our ambitious transformation programme ‘Enfield 2017’, building on the good work already done, capitalising on significant investment in technology and ensuring that future programme objectives are ambitious, dynamic and achievable.
A transformation professional with an outstanding personal reputation, you will have experience of leading a high-value, multi-faceted change function in an organisation of comparable scope and complexity. Consequently, you will be able to evidence strong contributions to strategic organisational development and change, particularly in relation to the iterative development of frontline services, associated cultural change and cost reduction, establishment of high performing external partnerships and the development and maximisation of investment in exemplary technology initiatives that deliver exceptional results.
Intellectually capable and with exceptional judgement, you will be an effective and collaborative relationship builder, able to form strong working relationships both within and external to the Council to maximise support and cooperation for innovation, change and investment. Above all, your coherent and inspiring leadership style and your ability to design, plan and deliver large-scale, progressive business change will be the keys to success, along with your ability to anticipate and address a broad range of challenges and opportunities to deliver outstanding results and enhance Enfield’s reputation and profile both nationally and internationally.
