The Development Management Team, which is part of the Planning & Development and Flood Risk Management Team in Communities Group, is engaged in supporting the continued economic regeneration of Warwickshire The developments dealt with by the team vary in scale, location and complexity, and the team is responsible for providing statutory highway advice to the Local Planning Authorities, preapplication advice, carrying out technical approvals and inspections for new road adoptions associated with developments throughout the County.
As a member of the Development Management Team, this post will carry out the day to day operations of the Highway Development Management team. This includes statutory highway advice, preapplication advice, new road adoptions and highway inspections. The role will provide technical responses to formal and informal consultation and assist colleagues with other aspects of workload within the team. Due to the nature of the role the ability to travel effectively throughout Warwickshire is essential.
